So the DNC is here finally. After all the promises and planning by our city council I still think that tax payers of Colorado will wind up footing the bill for this fiasco.
I could care less.
That is why I changed my affiliation to Independent. That is why all educated, SMART people changed. For the first time in for-ever there are a ton of undecided voters.
The two major parties have divided themselves into far left and far right.
The bible thumpers vs the Let's open our borders and save the world, never mind we can't save ourselves. Let's support a welfare state while millions of middle class lose the ability to support their family. But that is what Obama wants. So he and his hollywood buddies can play poker and raise money for the poor and feel good about themselves while destroying our country with policies that destroy the middle class. The more poor they create, the more opportunities there are for them to play Saint. Pathetic.
I'm over it.
The funny thing is that all of hollywood has come. The really funny thing is that Denver could give a shit. Denver is not the place to come if your gorgeous, or famous, or rich and want attention.
My husband noticed that immediately. Where ever he goes people stop and stare. Except here. He has never been given a second glance.
People here are smart, and well read, and well traveled. Your going to have to do allot better than speeches where you talk for hours and say NOTHING.
We do not want Tony Fucking Robbins for President.
Nor do we want 4 more years of the Bush administration.
And contrary to all those sycophant baby boomer women extolling us to "Come together for the good of the party" I'm not voting for either.
I will vote..but not for them.
And it's time we all voted write in or alternate candidates to send a message.
I've be vilified for "talking shit" about Obama. Like he's the cool guy at school and HOW DARE I?! I've seen blogs describing the kind of "loser" that can't get behind him. Something to do with feminism.
UH NO. It's more to do with an ability to size up character. It's more of a realization that the Kennedy era died in the backseat of a convertible in Dallas, and any way the fucker almost got us all blown up during the cold war so why would you WANT to bring it back.
Uncle Teddy is (in my opinion) a murdering DRUNK. (But let's forget that too in favor of "the party").
Obama is acting more like another rich, white, establishment candidate than rich white establishment candidates ever did.
And so I will continue to talk shit.
All stupid people...the CHEERLEADERS..step aside. And we will all shake our heads and laugh when he becomes the George Bush of the Democrats.
Hide and watch. He will.
And you can extol his virtues (that you pick from thin air) all you want. YOu can footnote and research articles PAID JOURNALISTS write. You can bore us with that nonsense till kingdom come. It doesn't make you a writer. It doesn't make Obama a good candidate.
